The End of the Grand Line · Legendary Island
Laugh Tale is the final island of the Grand Line in the manga "One Piece," named by Gol D. Roger. The Chinese name corresponds clearly to the English name. It first appeared in Chapter 697 of the manga and Episode 968 of the anime.
When Gol D. Roger saw the "treasure" left behind by Joy Boy, he burst out laughing and named the island "Laugh Tale." This name carries 800 years of historical secrets and awe.
Upon reaching Laugh Tale, the Roger Pirates learned the secrets of the "Void Century," the "Will of D," and the "Ancient Weapons" - knowledge that would change the understanding of the entire world.
To reach Laugh Tale, one must gather four "Road Poneglyphs." Each poneglyph points to a different island, and Laugh Tale lies at the X-shaped intersection where the four islands meet.
The first marker, pointing the way toward the end of the Grand Line, recording mysterious coordinates
The second marker, hiding historical truths the World Government doesn't want revealed
The third marker, revealing secrets of the Ancient Weapons and the destiny of the D clan
The fourth marker - where all four markers intersect in an X shape is the location of Laugh Tale
The World Government hid 100 years of history. Only by reaching Laugh Tale can one learn the truth of this erased era.
The Roger Pirates successfully reached Laugh Tale, becoming the only crew to do so in 800 years. They discovered the "great treasure" left behind by Joy Boy.
Seeing the treasure, Roger burst out laughing, naming the island "Laugh Tale." This name carries all of Roger's feelings about this place.
The story of Laugh Tale continues, as Luffy and his crew sail toward the end of the Grand Line...
